The JJL Zero locking nut uses a height adjustable, compensated zero fret in front of string guides which squeeze the strings to lock with a small turn of a hidden, recessed hex nut. Simple but elegant, this nut enables lightening fast locks, if required, with unprecedented height adjustment for the ultimate action set up - or tweaks in later years.
The striking headstock design shares the same design DNA as the rest of the guitar with it's unusual off-set cutaways and staggered tuner design. The M6 locking pin tuners, finished in Ruthenium, are completed with our own polished Titanium "Ray" pegs - inspired by the shape of a Sting Ray. The logo, the only understated clue to the Guitar's maker is finished in Palladium.
Our solid polished titanium tone and volume knobs have a pull function for operating the humbucker splits ( for tone) and separate pull volumes action 250k circuits to offer a more vintage tone. The knobs have fixed collars recessed into the body and levelled to maintain the same plane as the tremolo and strings. So when you pull the knob, the collar remains fixed.
The JJL One Series will always remain rare and valuable instruments. This model is limited to 99 pieces, hand signed and numbered.
The chassis also provides the guitar's inherent strength and stability to ensure that your Children's Children's Children will enjoy playing the instrument every bit as much as you have.
In addition to the chassis, the JJL One's neck also benefits from a double titanium truss rod which can be accessed via the pick up cavity. The neck has 24 frets, a 16" radius and a scale length of 25".
These are the the World's first Tungsten Carbide frets in a Jumbo profile of our own design. We have re-invented humble fret as a new high performance tone generating centre for the guitar. They are 9.5 on the MOHS hardness scale, each one hand made and ground from diamond tooling and polished with diamond paste. They will actually outlast the Human Race itself and have 3 x the mass and density of the equivalent Stainless steel fret. Other options also include high gloss Zirconium Black or Brilliant white (almost as hard as the Tungsten Carbide)

The striking new polished titanium, Ice Blades profiles employ RPG diffusion technology borrowed from Recording Studio design via variable profile slots. These diffuse the hard mid range "slap" present from the proximity of the strings to the hard surface of all solid body guitars.
Under the hood are the amazing Zexcoil humbuckers (one coil per string). In the PAF spectrum, They "kick ass" but have a clarity and focus that needs to be experienced in person. More details in the Hardware section..

The new hand polished titanium, JJL Atlantic Bridge is so-called because it bridges the impossible. The main linear movement moves - with no moving parts. It is also directly connected to both the deep resonance of the wood and the Acoustic Chassis. In other words, it is directly connected to the nut itself. It has been described as "a piece of engineering art". More details in the Hardware section.

The Extraordinary new JJL, one piece guitar is made from one piece of Brazilian Mahogany (no neck joint at all) seasoned at the bottom of the Belize River for at least 150 years. The good, heavy stuff actually sank on it way down to the Mill.
Even more astonishing is that this special sunken treasure was growing and mature at a time when the Conquistadors were still present in South America.
The JJL One Series will always remain rare and valuable instruments. This model is limited to 99 pieces, hand signed and numbered.
Then we take this bold new shape and do something even more special. We bond our own titanium "Acoustic Chassis" directly into the wood, connecting one end to the Atlantic Bridge and the other to the nut. This is the guitar's own tone "Superhighway" contributing to the extraordinary sustain and unique voice of the JJL One
